White storks perch on a crane located at the back of the Post Office in Marsa yesterday. A Birdlife Malta spokesman said the migrating flock of 10 birds was first seen coming from the north, with nine later spotted in Marsa, and early indications from rings on two of the storks’ legs showed they had flown from Italy. Volunteers from the NGO were organising a watch over them last night.
