BORG. On September 14, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, ANTONIA of Floriana, widow of John J. Borg, passed away to meet the Risen Lord, aged 76, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is deeply missed by her mother Rita Cassar, her children Robert, Lucienne Curmi, AnnMarie Spiteri, Karen Aquilina, Joanne Corbalan and Rachelle Villanueva, her in-laws, 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held tomorrow at 8am at St Publius parish church, Floriana, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CARUANA. On September 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, of Paola, aged 84, widow of John, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Anna Maria and her husband Joseph Dougall, Isabelle and her husband Louis Micallef, her grandchildren Thomas and his wife Melanie, Christine and her fiancé Malcolm Mejlak, Rosalind and her partner Johan, Victoria and her boyfriend Shaxon, her great-granddaughter Morgan Dougall, many other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30pm for the Augustinian church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
