A man and a woman were lucky to escape without serious injury when their Fiat Punto overturned as it was being driven down Mellieha hill near Selmun this afternoon.

The car was being driven by a 55-year-old man from Birkirkara accompanied by a 53-year-old woman.

An ambulance was called but no one was seriously injured.
