An Actavis LifeCycle participant rides over a lengthy span of bridge in Japan, but other parts of the route have proved to be one of the hardest ever in the series of annual LifeCycle challenges.

On Saturday at 11pm there were still six cyclists trying to complete the day’s 260km, having started out at 7am.

Yesterday the team had to cycle through the busy towns of Osaka and Kyoto. The challenge, raising funds for Mater Dei Hospital’s Renal Unit, will end in Tokyo on Friday.
