A group of apprentices who joined the Malta Drydocks in 1964 (pictured) held their 50th anniversary reunion. The evening started with Mass in commemoration of members of the ‘64 Entry’ who passed away, celebrated by archpriest Joseph Cilia at St Lawrence’s parish church, Vittoriosa, followed by a reception at the Maritime Museum.

Around 60 ex-apprentices spent the evening renewing old friendships and reminiscing old times.

Three ex-instructors who taught the apprentices their trades were also present.
