Fernando Torres is desperate to make his Milan debut tomorrow as the Rossoneri look to claim their second straight win at the start of the season away to Parma.

The Spanish striker joined Milan earlier this month on a two-year loan deal from Chelsea and is eager to play for his new club.

“I can’t wait to play for Milan,” Torres told reporters in midweek.

“I really wanted to play in Serie A having experienced the Premier League and La Liga. I want to score many goals and help Milan fight for titles and qualify for European competition.

“I want to return to compete amongst the best.”

Torres, who sat out Milan’s 3-1 win over Lazio in their Serie A opener, is expected to start at the Tardini stadium.

Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel, who also joined Milan on loan from Chelsea this summer, will watch from the bench.

Juventus host Udinese this evening at nowhere near full strength.

The defending champions, who edged Chievo 1-0 in Massimiliano Allegri’s first game in charge, are without several key players, including midfielders Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo through injury.

Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni still expects a tough test against Juventus.

“We expect a difficult game at Juventus even if they are missing several important players,” Stramaccioni said.

“I’m sure the players that will replace them will be eager to prove their worth.”

Stramaccioni has reason to be wary considering Juve were unbeaten at home during the 2013-14 campaign.

“We need to play an intelligent game,” Stramaccioni said.

“We will need to run much more than them and make fewer mistakes than they do if we are to have a chance against them.”

Defender Giorgio Chiellini is suspended for Juve and, to further complicate matters for Allegri, Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez is doubtful after he sustained a muscular injury in training.

Roma coach Rudi Garcia could rest some players in today’s game at newly-promoted Empoli in view of next week’s Champions League group opener against CSKA Moscow.

The Giallorossi are eager to make an immediate impact on Wednesday when they host the Russian team after a three-year absence from Europe’s elite club competition.

Napoli will fancy their chances of claiming their second straight win of the campaign when they welcome Chievo to Naples tomorrow.

Chievo have won just one and lost five of their eight meetings with Napoli at the San Paolo stadium.

Inter go in search of their first league victory of the season against Sassuolo at the San Siro tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri were held to a goalless draw at Torino in their opener.

Sampdoria are looking to halt a poor run of form when they play against Torino in Genoa, with their last league victory dating back to April 27.

Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men drew 1-1 at Palermo on day one of the campaign.

Fiorentina head into their home game against Genoa knowing they will be without the services of Giuseppe Rossi until next year.

The Italian striker, who was the team’s top scorer last season, underwent right knee surgery last week and will be sidelined for at least four months.

Lazio take on Cesena at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend looking to hand new coach Stefano Pioli his first win.

Pioli replaced Edy Reja at the helm of the team in the off season and suffered a 3-1 loss at Milan in his first game.

In other games, Cagliari take on Atalanta in Sardinia, while Verona host Palermo on Monday evening with all four teams going after their first win of the campaign.
