A feature of the local swimming season stretching over 10 months between autumn of one year and the following summer, comprises several swim meets, monthly time-trials and the National Championships.

An ensuing league classification in individual and team categories based on the International Points System (IPS) is drawn for each swimmer who races in different events.

The performances of several swimmers from all clubs are recorded on this points’ system and rankings are prepared at the end of each season.

Results for the 2013-2014 season have just been published by the ASA, with Neptunes swimmers once more featuring prominently in each of the three male and female categories – seniors, juniors and cadets

Neptunes swimmers top the list in the individual rankings, occupying five top places out of the six categories.

Team results also show that the Balluta Bay club are at the summit of the standings.
