CONFALONIERI. On September 7 at St James Hospital, Sliema, AUGUSTO, aged 84 from Naxxar, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Matilde, his son Fabio and his wife Nadia, his sister-in-law Graziella and her husband Bernard, their son Fabrizio, his grandchildren Daniil and Asia Matilde, other relatives, including Florence, and friends. On September 8, at St Catherine Home, Attard, FILOMENA, of Naxxar and residing in Balzan, aged 94, ex-headmistress of Birkirkara Primary School, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Can Paul Gauci, her sisters Mary widow of Saviour Portelli, Angele and her husband Charles Fenech, Maria widow of her brother Victor and Lisa widow of her brother Joseph, Doris Gauci widow of her cousin Carmel, her cousins, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
