I have just returned home from a wonderful holiday in the beautiful island of Malta where I visited my family and our precious granddaughter who have now settled there.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all concerned for such a hospitable holiday and, especially, to whoever is responsible for the summer school programme, which I believe is called Club 3-16 (or similar) in St Paul’s Bay, which my granddaughter attended.
It was a delight to see her waking up every morning and looking forward to going to school. Although we became of secondary importance to her list of priorities, because attending school was her first, we were so pleased to see her so happy. This, I must say, makes a nice change from when she lived in the UK where it was a daily struggle to get her to go to school.
