• A prayer meeting for the sanctification of priests and for priestly and religious vocations will be held on Saturday at the collegiate parish church of St Paul’s Shipwreck, Valletta.
The prayer meeting starts at 9pm with Mass, followed by adoration which goes on until 11pm.
• Fondazzjoni U (Xandir Soċjo-Reliġjuż) is holding a fundraising marathon from Friday to next Sunday in aid of Maltese missions in India, Mozambique and Kenya.
The proceeds will be used to sustain a resuce centre for abused women and minors in Garissa; palhotas for families’ night safety in Mozambique; purified drinking water for an entire remote village in Kenya; and a social and educational centre for emarginalised people in Calcutta.
