I have watched more than once the biographical documentary about the late Gozo Bishop Nikol Cauchi on TVM. It is nothing short of a little masterpiece about the beloved Gozitan prelate who will also be remembered as arguably the most prolific writer from Gozo.

However, I was disappointed to note that neither Mgr Gregory Grech nor Mgr Saviour Tabone, who both served for many years as Cauchi’s master-of-ceremonies, featured among the people who were interviewed.

A contribution from both priests would render complete such a documentary about the philosopher-bishop from Gozo.
