Registration for dance classes at Incite Motion will open this month. The studio has had an exciting six years which have seen students further their dance studies overseas, with numerous others receiving local and international scholarships and awards.

This summer, eight promising dance students who were all recipients of awards or scholarships attended dance courses overseas and in Gozo.

Martina Casolani, 10, was awarded the Sharon Sapienza Award at Living Dance 2013 for the most promising student. Two senior students, Francesca Ellul and Leanne Muscat Drago, attended the World Dance Movement in Bari. They were taught by top choreographers, including Teddy Forance from So You Think You Can Dance and Shaping Sound.

At the end of the performance, Ellul was awarded a scholarship to attend a course at the Kledi Dance Academy in Rome. Kledi Kadiu, of Amici fame is the artist director at Kledi Dance.

The success of these and other students highlights the studio’s dedication and constant drive to develop dance education.

The school, run by Astrid Gollcher and Christiane Borg Manché, endeavours to educate dancers through creativity, appreciation and performance, providing a holistic dance education and thus develop-ing versatile, creative and individual dancers.

Registrations to enrol for dance classes at Incite Motion are open on September 23 from 5 to 7pm.
