Marisha Bonnici, artistic director at ArtsExcel, looks at the school as a home for young, talented and versatile dancers. ArtsExcel aims to create a space for dancers and artists to work together and explore artistic boundaries.

Internationally-recognised examinations in classical ballet, modern dance, Spanish dance, gymnastics and musical theatre give the students the technical foundation needed in the art form. Students are also propelled and encouraged to develop beyond the examination structures and work towards performances, exhibitions, festivals, competitions and installations.

The school offers classes in hip-hop, jazz, flamenco, stretch and strength, pointe work and repertoire. Classes are offered from the age of three upwards.

Dancers attend boot camps, international master classes, courses and festivals throughout the year and the school recently placed first in the San Remo Dance Competition.

Arts Excel believes in nurturing young dancers and providing solid training for the artist of tomorrow. The full- equipped studios are in San Ġwann and Pembroke.
