From a three-legged horse and people slipping off the gostra, to hunters, Syrians and Palestinians fleeing their war torn homelands and Brad Pitt arriving in Malta, Times of Malta presents a selection of some of the best photos taken over the past week by its team of photographers.

The man and his family with two children were brought to Malta on a fast rescue launch after being picked up from a sinking boat because of the deteriorating medical condition of one of the children, a six-month-old baby.
