ATTARD. On September 3, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, LEONARD (Nardu) of Siġġiewi, aged 68, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rose, his children Claire and her husband Brian, Mark, Ruth, his grandchildren Russell and Noah, his brothers and sis-ters Nenu, Ġuża, Kolina,Manwel, Toni, Rita and Mario and their respective families, other relatives and friends. BUHAGIAR. On August 26, PAUL, proprietor of GP Hardware, of Tarxien and residing at Birkirkara, aged 52, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Grace, his sons Olaf, Aaron and Gaivin, his mother Mary and his father Lawrence, his sister Myriam and her husband Stephen, his brothers Victor and his wife Rita, Fr Albert Buhagiar, parish priest of Mosta and Joseph and his wife Rosemary, in-laws and their families, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for St Therese Sanctuary, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Mara Addolorata Cemetery. DILLON. On September 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, IRENE C, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Patrick M, her sister Moira B, her dearest friend Marlene, her aunts, cousins, friends and colleagues at the Malta Communications Authority, also, last but not least, Geraldine, our (guardian angel) who sustained us during this difficult and painful time. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Anne parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
KAVANAGH – PATRICK ANTHONY XXXI, on August 28, at his residence, at the age of 56, after a brief illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Susan Jenifer Firth Bernard Kavanagh. Also deeply mourned by Susan Joan Chitty, mother of his children Brendan and his wife Rose Ellen, Faye, Poppy, Gabrielle and her husband Tyler, and his grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Saturday, September 6 at 8.30am at Balluta parish church, St Julians, followed by private funeral at Bury St Edmonds, United Kingdom, at a later date.
