AMATO. On August 31, JOSETTE née Muscat, aged 56, passed away peacefully comforted by the rights of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband Edward and her children Michael and Angie, her mother Ethel and her mother-in-law Erminia Amato, her brother Claude and his wife Marcelle, her sisters Mary and her husband Godfrey Mangion, Monique and her husband Gerard Zammit, her brother-in-law Michael Balzan widower of her sister Louise and Felicity Muscat widow of her brother Pierre, her brother-in-law George Amato and his wife Gillian, her sisters-in-law Helen wife of Colin Tabone, Madeleine wife of Brian Hladnik and Mary wife of Jonathan Muscat, her many nephews and nieces, her cousins and her numerous friends, her dedicated carers Love Allyn and Dexter. The funeral cortège leaves Capua St James Hospital in Sliema at 1.15pm tomorrow for Qrendi parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm. Private burial will take place at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta would be very much appreciated. The family would like to thank Hospice Malta and Josette’s friends for their invaluable support during her illness. The family regret that they are unable to receive any visitors. DAWSON. On August 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAUL GEOFFREY, of San Ġwann, aged 59, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Grace née Formosa his sons Matthew, James and William, his sisters Leslie, Cheryl, Yvonne, Maria and Regina and their families in the UK his sister-in-law Rita and her husband Joseph Farrugia, his brothers-in-law Paul and his wife Doris and Sebastian and his wife Elizabeth, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3.15pm for St Sebastian parish church, Qormi, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment at the Siġġiewi Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Sagra Familja Żabbar or Puttinu Cares will be appreciated.

De MARTINO. On September 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN, aged 30, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and never failing dedication of his family and relatives, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He is deeply missed by his parents Giovanni and Maria, his siblings Mark and Rita, aunties, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3.30pm for Mosta parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm. Burial will take place at Mosta cemetery in the family tomb. LANCASTER. On August 28, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, LEONARD THOMAS (Len), aged 81, of Cospicua, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his dearest wife Emily née West, his daughters Theresa and her husband Demis Fsadni, Caroline and her husband Nicholas Battistino, his granddaughters Nichola and Alice, his in-laws and their families, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent De Paul Residence tomorrow at 1.45pm for the collegiate church of the Immaculate Conception in Cospicua where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said for his repose at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SULTANA. On August 31, at Karin Grech Hospital, JOSEPH, of Valletta residing at Lija, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lina, his children Wilfred and his wife Freda, Marthese and her husband Joseph Croker, Anton and his wife Anna, several grandchildren and great-grandchilren, his brother and sisters Carmelo widower of Lina, Violet widow of Charles Caruana, Ċensina and her husband Lino Imbroll, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 2.45pm for Balzan parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.15pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
