Malta’s chairwoman Maria Micallef, below, and CEO Louis Giordimaina (fifth from left) were nominated for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which has taken the world by storm.
Micallef was nominated by the Prime Minister’s wife, Michelle Muscat, while Giordimaina was nominated by Westin Dragonara’s general manager, Michael Camilleri Kamsky.
Micallef thanked Air Malta employees for taking up the challenge and encouraged others to do likewise. She was doused with two buckets of water by her nephew and niece, Beppe and Mia, at her residence.
Giordimaina, together with his management team and staff, took the challenge at the airport.
