An exhibition featuring miniature-size replicas of the statue of Għajnsielem’s patron saint, Our Lady of Loreto, and church ornaments seen in the sanctuary during the village feast, will be open today at the Parish Home in Pjazza Indipendenza, Għajnsielem. The statue is made from fibre material and covered in pure 24-carat gold, while the bankun and bradella (statue bases) are hand-carved from mahogany wood. The exhibition is owned by the Buttigieg family.
