Flush with history, music, neon dreams and southern charms, the hip Tennessee capital gives inspiration to three distinctive moods of the upcoming Guess collection.
The first theme is all about Nashville, the music city where country meets rock ’n’ roll in the recording studio to appeal a new generation of girls and guys.
The Show, inspired by live music shows, is a bold, iconic collection of styles for going out, whether you are on stage or backstage.
On the Road represents the authenticity and genuine denim authority of Guess: sounds of guitars and slow, creative moments on a tour bus give life to a new country and rock winter offer.
The denim collection introduces an extra low-waist mini bootleg and a performance curve style. Flared and skinny styles, particularly in high-waist versions, will continue to feature in the collection, along with shorts, shortalls, overalls and jumpsuits.
For him, a classic cowboy style with button fly in a loose fit will be key, along with the slim, mini bootcut pant.
Classic denim vests and jackets for him and her will be updated to more cocooned versions, while distinctly 80s-style shirt jackets and boyfriend blazers will also feature strongly.
The inspiration for denim washes and treatments comes from the authentic roots of the brand to create a series of blue washes right out of the old west, contrasted with leather inserts on key jeans, jacket and overall styles.
Mid-season, the look turns to new, clean coatings in premium finishes such as gangster coated denim, while in late autumn, the collection returns to destroyed and used denim in comfort and true blue washes, with a strong focus on super-soft, pyjama-style denim.
The fashion offer presents the cowboy shirt as the seasonal must- have for both him and her, offered in comfort versions in chambray and mixed prints, as well as for elegant going-out moments, complete with cowboy tips on the collars.
Other key items for the brand’s On the Road couple are five-pocket corduroys paired with original Guess sweaters in cabled and textured patterns, as well as active-wear pleated hoodies and jogging pants, complete with clean giant graphics for him and lace and leather detailing for her.

Early in the season, the colour palette will be dominated by the distinctive tones of oxblood, dern and rhubarb reds intertwined with old west blues and browns including camel, khaki, cognac and brandy. Pops of turquoise, sweet lavender and Cadillac pink offer a selection of feminine tones for her.
Mid-season, the palette turns to matte blacks contrasted by brilliant white with silver chrome and gold, representative of today’s glamorous Nashville shows.
To conclude the season, On the Road inspires true blue denim tones, winter whites and softer dusty shades such as camel, mushroom and shammy with pops of deep blue, bright yellow and aubergine, providing touches of high colour.
