Bank of Valletta has been recertified with the equality mark by the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality.

“We are justifiably proud of this recertification. This is a formal recognition of our commitment to provide equal access to career opportunities and development irrespective of gender, status or caring responsibilities,” said BOV chief officer human resources Anthony Scicluna.

Bank of Valletta was first awarded the equality mark certification in 2011 by the NCPE with the support of the European Social Fund.

The mark recognises the bank’s efforts to ensure equal access to opportunities

The equality mark recognised Bank of Valletta’s efforts to ensure equal access to opportunities and that career development is based on the individuals’ capabilities, irrespective of their gender and caring responsibilities.

Bank of Valletta employs 1,600 members of staff, of whom almost 60 per cent are women.
