The new Fiat 500 Cult has been brought to Malta by Ucim Ltd of Birkirkara.

Launched earlier this year at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the 500 Cult introduces new product features in terms of style and technological content. They include three new body colours, three new 16" alloy wheels and a renewal of the interiors in fabric or leather, with specific combinations for every trim level.

The Fiat 500 is the Fiat model with the highest level of sales outside of Italy: more than 1,200,000 units sold from 2007 to date, 75% of which have been registered abroad.

“There is a genuine ‘500 effect’, which has spread not only through the automotive sector, but has also become a source of inspiration in other areas: from the cinema to art and from fashion to design. The Fiat 500 has earned a place in the collective imagination as a powerful, unmistakable symbol, not merely a means of transport but a ‘vehicle’ for authentic emotion and unique experiences,” said Francesca Mamo, Managing Director of UCIM Co Ltd.

“In some places, the Fiat 500 has become almost a ‘cult’ item for collectors and admirers. It’s up to the Fiat brand to fuel ‘500ism’ constantly with new products, ever more up-to-date and contemporary, and this is what FIAT is doing with this exclusive Fiat 500 Cult version, which assumes its rightful place in the manifesto of ‘500ism’,” she added.
