ARRIGO. On August 25, at Roseville Home, Attard, IRIS, née Lapira, widow of Dr Maurice, passed away peacefully. She is mourned by her children Noel and his wife Maria, Peter and his wife Mary and Marisa and her husband Edwin Pisani, her sister Denise Asphar, her grandchildren Maurice, Edward, Alexander, Joseph, Martin, Nicole, Francesca and Thea, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Roseville Home tomorrow for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to either Fondazzjoni mid-Dlam għad-Dawl, 10, Matty Grima Street, Cospicua, or Hospice Malta, Balzan, would be appreciated.

DeBONO. On August 26, MARION, née Pisani, passed away peacefully, aged 73. Lovingly remembered by her husband Albert, and her children Brian, Roberto and his partner Clifford, and Silvana and her husband Mark Cini, grandchildren Lisa and Isaac; brothers and in-laws, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9am at St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun. No flowers by request but donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ħamrun, will be appreciated. Attendees are kindly requested to refrain from wearing black ties and dresses.

TABONE. On August 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN (ex-Customs Chief) of Żejtun, residing in Sliema, aged 73, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Connie, his daughter Natasha and her husband Franco Galea, and their daughters Hannah, Becky and Sara and their fiancés, his son Sean and his wife Claudia and their children Maya and Cruz, his brothers and sisters and their families, in-laws, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 2pm at Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann.

TABONE. On August 27, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, JOSEPHINE of Qormi, aged 88, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sister, Canon Feliċ Tabone, Anthony, and Carmen, widow of Carmel Mangion, nephew and nieces, Marion and her husband Mario Spiteri Sacco, Margaret Delicata, George and his wife Julie Mangion, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 2.45pm for St George’s parish church, Qormi, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at the Resurrection Cemetery, Qormi. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

Requiem Mass

A Mass for the repose of the soul of GINO CAMILLERI, who died on July 20, will be said on Friday, August 29, at 6.30pm at the University chapel, Msida campus.
