A fence has been put up along part of the Pembroke valley where a 17-year-old Russian student died two years ago after fracturing her skull in a 20-metre fall.

A month ago, Times of Malta reported that the area remained unfenced notwithstanding the tragic accident.

English language student Polina Rahman died on July 17, 2012, after falling into the valley adjacent to Villa Rosa, bordering Pembroke. Her body was found by foreigners a week after she was reported missing. They detected a foul smell coming from the valley.
