AZZOPARDI. On August 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, VINCENZA, known as Ina, of Santa Luċija, aged 62, ex-teacher at St Catherine High School, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Edward, her father Francis, her sisters, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and their families, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for Santa Luċija parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. FABRI. On August 17, at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, England, CHRISTINE née Lanfranco, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after a short illness. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Alfred, her son Simon and his wife Rosa Eva, her daughter Angela and her husband Simon Montanaro, and her beloved grandchildren David, Emma and Nick. She also leaves to mourn her brother Francis Lanfranco and his wife Claire, her brother Peter Lanfranco, her sister Berta and her husband Michael Fenech, her brother-in–law George Fabri and his wife Josette, her brother-in-law David Fabri, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.30am for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavare will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery (entrance via top gate). GRIMA. On August 23, ĠUŻEPPI, of Paola, aged 95, widower of Ursola, née Meli, passed peacefully away at St Vincent de Paul Residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Karmenu and his wife Marianne, Elvira and her husband John Busuttil, Mary and her husband Joe Micallef, Pauline and her husband Paul Brincat, George and his wife Pauline, Joe and his wife Anna, Emanuel and his wife Lilian, Therese and her husband Mario Rodgers, Rita, Roseann and her husband Notary Charles Gafà, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his in-laws and their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 3pm for Lourdes church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. MERCIECA. On August 21, CARMEL SAVIOUR, at the age of 76, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. A wonderful husband, father and grandfather, he is sadly missed by his beloved wife Catherine, née Bugeja, his daughter Stephanie and her husband Laurence Scerri, his grandchildren Adreana and her fiancé Andrew, Francesca and her boyfriend Samiro, and his sisters, Doris, widow of George Borg, Mary and her husband Ernest Kirby, and sister-in-law Mary Jane, widow of Joseph Mercieca, and relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for the Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. PULLICINO. On August 23 at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANK, aged 79, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Deeply mourned by his wife Hilda née Galea, his daughter Moira and her husband David Pace, Rowena and her husband David Cassar Torreggiani, his grandchildren Kim, Daniel, Kelly and Julian, his brothers and sisters and their spouses, his in-laws, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. RIP. The funeral takes place on Tuesday at 9.30am, with Mass praesente cadavere at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary in San Pawl tat-Tarġa, Naxxar, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Holy Family Home Naxxar would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to all the carers, nurses and staff at the Holy Family home, Naxxar, and staff at Mater Dei Hospital ITU and A&E Department. Lord grant him eternal rest.

SANT. In loving memory of SILVANA, née Mifsud, who went to meet the Risen Lord and be reunited with her father and mother on August 21 at the tender age of 48. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Jonathan and Luciano and her husband Charles, her sisters Antoinette and her husband Michael, Tessie and her husband Joe, Maria Pia and her husband Raymond and her brother Joseph and his wife Carmen, her brother-in-law Salvu and his wife Rita, her sister-in-law Josephine and her husband Alex, together with her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow for Mosta parish church where Mass will be said at 4pm. She will be buried in the family grave at Mosta cemetery. Lord grant her eternal peace.
