The Palace hotel in Sliema has completed its Sixth Sense designer suite collection with the unveiling of the fragrance suite.

This last suite forms part of six designer suites inspired by the five senses, each with its own theme, namely flavour, view, light, texture and music.

AX hospitality director Claire Zammit Xuereb, who designed the suites, has used various pieces of classical furniture collected from antique shops and traditional Maltese homes, restoring them tastefully to create a unique atmosphere. She said that just like the other five, the fragrance suite has its own distinctive features that have been carefully thought out and are different to the rest.

“We want to offer guests a new experience each time they visit one of our suites,” she said.

The fragrance suite portrays Parisian vintage decor. A vintage luggage rack and a vanity unit are reminiscent of the famous French theatres of the golden eras.

With one click of a finger, the mirror in the vanity unit transforms itself into a flat screen TV.

The double bed features a white wrought iron canopy. A wooden bar adds to the room’s aromas with a selection of whiskies and cigars.

A red touch gives the bathroom a classic yet elegant look, while handmade soap bars from a soap cafe increase the fragrance element.

The suite also has stunning views of Valletta and Sliema.
