Thirteen countries will be participating in the biggest ever Malta International Airshow next month.
Joe Ciliberti, President of the Malta Aviation Society said the show will feature four aerobatic teams: the Italian Frecce Tricolori, the Spanish Patrulla Aguila’, the Turkish team Turkish Stars and the RAF Red Arrows.
There will also be flying displays by a Swiss F18, Belgian F16, Czech L-159 alca, among others.
The airX Malta International Airshow will be held on September 27-28.
Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis praised the Malta Aviation Society for their commitment in providing the country with a high standard national event .
“It is not only an enjoyable event for the Maltese but it also raises Malta’s profile overseas. We are now firmly on the map of international airshows and this year will see a record number of participating aircraft and 4 aerobatic teams, making the airX Malta International Airshow a world class event”, said Dr Zammit Lewis.
