A police sergeant was slightly injured during an argument which broke out in St George’s Road, St Julian’s, yesterday at about 2am.

Involved in the argument were a 20-year-old man from Fgura and three youths from Tarxien aged beween 17 and 19 years.

The police said the four persons involved would be charged in court soon.

In a statement the Acting Commissioner wished the injured sergeant a speedy recovery and said that no form of violence would be tolerated against the police while they executed their duties.
