ABELA. On August 14, at his residence in Tarxien, FRANK, at the age of 88, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rita, née Sciberras, his children Josephine and her husband Charles, Thomas and his wife Antoinette, Mary Rose, widow of Charles, Lora and her husband Gaetano and Tessie and her husband Marcel, his grandchildren Daniela, Vanessa and her husband Stanley, Roberto and Claudette, Gianfranco, Annelise, Janett and her husband David, Emiliano and Stefania, Rebecca and her husband Mark and Sarah and her husband Keith, his great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday for St Anne’s parish church, Marsascala, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. CAMILLERI – PAULINE (Lina), née Agius Delicata, aged 78, went to meet the Risen Lord on August 3, at Croydon University Hospital, London, comforted by Holy Sacraments. She is loved and treasured by her husband Joe, her children Patricia Dunn and husband Paul, and Stephen; her grandchildren Jonathan and fiancée Nisha, Catherine and Timothy; her brother Joseph Agius Delicata and wife Carmelina; her niece Myriam Soler and nephews Paul Agius Delicata and Jesmond Buhagiar and their respective families, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated on Thursday at St Michael’s church, London.
DEBONO. PAUL STEPHEN (Ta’ l’Ingliż) residing in Pietà, passed away on July 28, aged 52. He was the much loved father of Amber. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11am at the grave site at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery (back entrance), followed by interment. Lord, grant him eternal peace.
DESPOTT. On August 16, at his residence in Sliema, DONALD, aged 83, architect and civil engineer, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his darling wife Giovanella Beneventano del Bosco, his sister-in-law Elena Rametta and her husband Peppino and their children Professoressa Rafaella Rizza, Agatha and Paolo, his nephews and nieces Dr John Attard Montalto, Baron of San Paolino, and his wife Rose and daughter Rebecca, Maurice, Jean, Karl and Tania and their respective wives and husband, Louise, Paul and Maphine and all their sons and daughters, his niece Greta and her husband and their children, dear relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Joseph Jr and his wife Karen, Michael and his wife Bridgette, his six grandchildren, Jeffery, Joshua, Annie, Emily, Janie and Christina, his sisters and brothers Mary, widow of Derrick, Doris and her husband Tony, Tony and his wife Doreen, Michael and his wife Jane, Sam and his wife Jenny, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 2.45pm for Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul’s Bay, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at the Ħniena Divina cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. The family wish to have only family flowers, but donations to Dar il-Kaptan, Mtarfa, would be greatly appreciated.
