I thought that on Tuesday evening (August 22) we were commemorating the 100th anniversary of the declaration of World War I with two long blackouts – then I realised this was not the case.
Let’s face it, even on an island devoid of recent warfare, hurricanes, tornadoes and tsunamis, Enemalta has never been able to provide an electricity supply without unannounced power cuts. One can only hope that ‘China Electric’ will.
