A driver, 26, and his passenger, 34, both of Naxxar, were injured when the car they were in overturned in Mannarino Road, Birkirkara, on August 10. The car was travelling towards Birkirkara when the driver lost control by the VAT offices. It smashed through railings and traffic signs and rolled on to a road about two metres below. The supermoon rises over St Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina on August 10. The astronomical event occurs when the moon is closest to Earth in its orbit, making it appear much larger and brighter than usual.
