For the past month, Israel has been carrying a merciless offensive against Gaza that caused the death of about 2,000 Palestinians and injured more than 7,000, of whom 80 per cent are innocent civilians. This besides the destruction of mosques, schools, markets, hospitals, homes and the power plant.
The ongoing war displaced more than 250,000 Palestinians. There are whole families who were massacred inside their homes by the Israeli air strikes.
These are war crimes and genocide.
The war in Gaza is not because of the killing of the three Israeli settlers in the West Bank, which Israel blames on Hamas without producing any evidence but because of the continuous Israeli occupationof the Palestinian territories. This is the result of the failure of the peace process because of Israel’s refusal to comply with the United Nations’ resolutions regarding the Palestinian question.
Unfortunately, most of the western countries insist that Israel has the right to defend itself against the primitive rockets of Hamas.
However, they ignore the fact that Israel started the offensive operation against Gaza and Hamas is in a defence position.
Those who keep silent on the Israeli massacres are partners with Israel in the bloodshed
They do not mention that Israel has no right to occupy the Palestinian lands and that the Palestinians have the right to resist the occupation.
In the eyes of the super powers, Israel is always right and a victim as if the Palestinians are occupying the Israeli lands and attacking the Israeli people.
Israel always speaks peace but prepares and wages wars at the same time. It does not want honourable just peace with the Palestinians but wants to acquire peace and Palestinian land together. Israel wants to have the maximum of Palestine’s land with the minimum of Palestinian inhabitants.
It commits genocide against the Palestinians to get rid of them.
The Israelis are attacking Gaza to demilitarise Hamas and impose its humiliating conditions on the Palestinians. They want to eliminate the last resistance stronghold in the Arab world. The Israelis want to send a terroristic message to the Arab world: anybody who thinks of facing Israel will have the same tragic fate as Gaza.
The whole world should sympathise with the Palestinian people because they are the oppressed and the victim of the last and worst occupation in the world. It is immoral, an injustice and inhuman to support the aggressive Israel, the killer of children, against the wronged Palestinians.

The international community should exert serious pressure on Israel to stop its aggression and lift the siege on Gaza.
Israel should negotiate with the Palestinians to withdraw its troops from the Palestinian land and enable the Palestinians to have a free independent homeland.
As long as there is occupation there will be no peace in the Middle East.
Even if Israel wins its cheap unbalanced battle against the poor Gazans with its fourth most powerful army in the world it certainly will not win lasting peace at the end because there is no peace with injustice.
The heroic Gaza resistance will inspire the coming generations to continue their sacrifices for freedom. In my opinion, if Israel really wants lasting peace, it should allow its people to live with the Palestinians in peace in one democratic State, as is the case in South Africa,. This would enable the Palestinian and Israeli children to enjoy peace and a bright future.
