BORG. On August 12, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, SAVIOUR, passed away peacefully, aged 79. CASTILLO. On Tuesday, August 12, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, JANE, née Logano, aged 62, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Stanley, her children Sean and his wife Joanne, Caroline and her husband Chris Debono, Diane and her husband Joseph Micallef and James, her grandchildren Matthias, Michela, Lisa and Jacob, her sisters Maria and her husband Rennie Aquilina, Laura wife of the late Tony, Margaret, her brother Raymond andhis wife Antonia, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, at 8am for the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

ENGERER. On August 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROMIE, aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Alexandra and her husband Wayne Wampler, Anna and her husband Wayne Simmons and her son Peter and his wife Marica, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, at 9am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FENECH. On August 12, JOSEPH DOMINIC, passed away peacefully after a short illness borne with Christian fortitude. Deeply missed by his beloved wife Mary, née Fenech, and cherished by his loving children Alexander, Elaine and Salvino Mifsud Bonnici, and Marie Louise and her husband Gordon Theobald. He leaves to mourn his great loss his siblings - May, Carmen, Pio, Lora, Frances and Alfred, his in-laws, nieces, nephews, their children, other relatives and the many friends who crossed his path. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow,Thursday, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement and the Poor Clares in St Julian’s will be appreciated. The family appreciate the care given by the consultants and staff at St. James Hospital, and the IDU and SW4 wards at Mater Dei Hospital. Lord Grant him eternal rest.

HARDING. On August 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIAN, née West, aged 85, and on August 13, at home, Chief Justice Emeritus Professor HUGH HARDING, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. They leave to mourn their sad loss their children Karin and her husband Gerard Spiteri Maempel, Rhona and her husband Nicholas Samut-Tagliaferro, and David, and their grandchildren Francesca and her husband Thomas Schwalbe, Federica, Ella, Sarah, John and Julian, Marian’s brother David and his wife Ursula, her sister Irene and John, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, August 16 at 9am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant them eternal rest. Not even in death did they part.

HAYWARD – DAVID WALLACE, born in Portsmouth, 26.01.1940, ex-Drydocks employee, passed away peacefully in Malta on August 6, at the age of 74. A service will be held tomorrow at 8.30am at St Paul’s Pro-Cathedral, Valletta. After the service the funeral will continue to Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Please feel welcome to come to the service. We would like to thank each and every one of you for all the condolences sent to us.

MONTEBELLO. On August 12, CARMEL, aged 88, went to meet the Risen Lord. Deeply mourned by his beloved wife Ġuża, his daughters Tanya and husband John and Elizabeth and husband Raymond, his granddaughters Claire, Isabel and Emily, his brother Joseph, his sisters Chessie and Mary, other relatives and friends. SCICLUNA. On August 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY of Rabat, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Doris and her husband John, Julie, widow of her son Frank, Frank’s daughters Sharon, Amanda and her husband Dinko and baby Frangesca, her sister Polly and her family, her in-laws and their `families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3.30pm for Ta’ Ġieżu church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat.
