ATTARD. On August 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, IGNATIUS known as Ino, of Victoria, Gozo, aged 58, passed away suddenly comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Mary Grace, children Rebekah, Isaac and Jakob, his mother Maria, his brother Noel and his wife Sylvana, his sister Pauline and her husband Manuel, and their respective children, his in-laws and their respective families and other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital today at 4.20pm, followed by prayers and Mass præsente cadavere at 5pm at St George’s Basilica, Victoria, Gozo, followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery, Xewkija. BORG. On August 12, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, SAVIOUR, passed away peacefully, aged 79. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maria, his children and their spouses, Marie, Jillian, Chris, John, Angela, and Marion, his grandchildren, Maxine, Jacques, and Matthea, his brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital on Thursday, August 14 at 8.30am for St Julians parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. HAYWARD – DAVID WALLACE, born in Portsmouth, 26.01.1940, ex-Dry Docks employee, passed away peacefully in Malta on August 6, at the age of 74. A service will be held on Thursday, August 14 at 8.30am at St Paul’s Pro-Cathedral, Valletta. After the service the funeral will continue to the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Please feel welcome to come to the service. MELI. On August 11, M’STELLA, née Mazzelli, widow of Joseph of Vittoriosa. MONTEBELLO. On August 12, CARMEL, aged 88, went to meet the Risen Lord. Deeply mourned by his beloved wife Ġuża, his daughters Tanya and husband John and Elizabeth and husband Raymond, his granddaughters Claire, Isabel and Emily, his brother Joseph, his sisters Chessie and Mary, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow at 2.30pm at the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. QUINN. On August 6, PATRICK JOSEPH, aged 78, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Bernadette, née Anastasi, his children Vincent, Peter, Maria Marriott, step-daughter Alexandra Andrews and their spouses, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral takes place on Monday, August 18 at Oakham, Rutland, UK. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
