The supermoon rising over Mdina Cathedral last night, an astronomical event that occurs when the moon is closest to earth in its orbit, making it appear much larger and brighter than usual. This was the second of three spectacularly bright moons this year. Having three in such close proximity is very rare and will not happen again until 2034.
