The 49th edition of the Cathedral annual, Il-Għid tal-Assunta, has just been published. First issued in 1966, it features researched articles on a number of major anniversaries occuring this year, including the foundation of the Cathedral 150 years ago and the death of Archbishop Pietro Pace 100 years ago, as well as write-ups on current affairs, such as the major restoration works being carried out in the Citadel.
