San Andrea Senior School history option students took part in a clean-up of Punic remains in the school’s car park, enabling them to learn more about the tombs and to appreciate the need to care for Malta’s national heritage. Biology teacher Elaine Bajada joined the activity with her Grade 10 biology students and she explained the flora encountered during the clean-up of these tombs. Two information panels were set up outside the remains to explain the Punic tombs’ significance.
