DEBATTISTA. On August 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY, of Valletta, residing at Guardamangia, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Anne, his sons Herbert and Patricia, Charles and his wife Carmen and Antoine and his wife Vanessa, his grandchildren Andrea, Arianna and her boyfriend Jurgen, and Marie, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.45am for Our Lady of Fatima Sanctuary, Guardamangia, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
JONES. On August 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, née Cachia Castelletti of Sliema, passed away peacefully, aged 71. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Peter and Sonia, her brothers and sister, Oreste, Clementine and Anthony and their respective spouses, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.15am for St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.45am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
SCIBERRAS. On August 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, Sister RITA of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Franciscan Sisters, her sisters Rita, Evelyn, Charles and his wife Isabelle, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.45pm for St Francis church, Villambrosa Street, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to charitable institutions will be greatly appreciated.
