GasanMamo has enhanced its Sana health insurance plans, offering extra benefits at no additonal costs.

The Sana Vital Plan now includes outpatient benefits such as cover for GP charges, specialist consultation fees, alternative therapy and diagnostic procedures. The Sana Key Plan includes the above benefits and emergency dental care, while the Sana International Plan covers all these and additionally repatriation to Malta.

“Following Sana’s growth in the market, we felt that new products was the next natural step, offering both individual and corporate clients more comprehensive cover and a wider variety of plans and optional benefits,” said Mark Mamo, general manager at GasanMamo.

EmCare has introduced add-ons to the company’s TelecarePlus and eCare services.

The On-Wrist Fall trigger is designed to alert the call centre when it detects that the person wearing it has suffered a fall. Being waterproof, it is ideal for common falls out of a bath or shower.

The emCare Intruder Alert warns the call centre of any specific danger such as the unauthorised attempt of entering a residence.

The alert is also commonly used for users who wander due to the condition of dementia.

EmCare has also introduced the mLife service, a mobile phone developed over many months to be as simple to use as the user would like it to be, from using just one button to using GPS location, geo-fencing, medication reminders, appointments, doctor visits, camera, radio and torch.
