I have been reading with considerable interest the news story concerning the Gozitan farmer and his unregistered sheep.
According to the court’s report, as quoted in Times of Malta, his 220 sheep are valued at €520,000.
My family’s farm in England has pasture grazed by sheep. According to the UK National Sheep Association, one sheep in England is currently valued at £75, which is equivalent to €95.
This information begs the question: what is so ‘special’ about a Gozitan sheep?
