Malta International Airport has reported a profit of €6.64 million in the first half of this year, compared to €5.11 million in the same period last year.

Turnover increased from €25.2m in the first half of last year to €28.1 million in the first six months of this year.

Passenger movements were up by 7.7 per cent to 1.86 million passengers.

The company is proposing a net dividend of €0.03 per share.
