CARUANA. On July 27, Sr MAURIZIA (Carmela) of the Sisters of Charity, aged 84, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her sister Agnes Attard, widow of Tano, her brothers Tarcisio and his wife Doris, Saviour, Joe and his wife Mary, in England her sister Mary Jeneer and her husband Brian, in Australia her sister Dolores Grech and her husband Paul, her sister Mansueta Busuttil, wife of Joe, Agostino Grech, widower of her sister Antonia, Janette, widow of her brother Emmanuel, Giovanna Caruana, widow of her brother Giovanni and other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 9.30am at the convent chapel of the Sisters of Charity, Birbal Street, Balzan, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GIORDMAINA MEDICI. FRANK passed away peacefully at the age of 64 surrounded by his family. After braving the storm with great courage he finally found peace on July 27, 2014. He leaves to mourn his irreplaceable loss, his wife Rita, his daughters Alexia and her husband Hector Picazo and his darling granddaughter Liza, Christina and her husband Keith Diplock, his brother John and wife Sigrid, his sister Mary and husband Alfred Spiteri, his in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews, nieces and his many friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 12 noon at St John of the Cross church, in Ta’ Xbiex. Burial at sea will proceed from Ta’ Xbiex Marina at 6pm. Friends with boats are welcome at attend. MICALLEF. On July 25, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, GIOVANNA, aged 79, widow of Anthony, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Antoinette and her husband Mario, Jacqueline and her husband Dione and Robert and his wife Katrin, her grandchildren Erica, Andrew, Jasmine, May, Luke and Matthew, other relatives and friends.
