The Nationalist Party this afternoon thanked all those involved in the release of kidnapped Maltese oil worker Martin Galea in Libya yesterday.

The PN said it wished to particularly thank consul Marisa Farrugia, who Mr Galea had credited with saving his life.

The PN said it was informed that a number of Libyans who are close to Malta were also involved in Mr Galea’s release. They had worked hard behind the scenes, and the PN said it was thanking them for their efforts.

The PN wished Mr Galea well.
