Bishop Mario Grech led a concelebrated Mass marking the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at Ta’ Hamet chapel, Victoria, animated by the Voci Angeliche choir. This was followed by a procession with the statue of Our Lady. In his homily, the bishop called on the congregation to pray for people grieving the loss of loved ones, to console those suffering due to illnesses, unemployment, precarious work, gossip, gambling or drug abuse, and to draw attention to those making the life of others difficult through their irresponsible actions.
