• The feast of St Martha will be celebrated at Tal-Għonq chapel, Victoria, on Tuesday. Mass will be said at 8.30 and 10.30am. The rosary will be recited at 6.30pm. Mgr Girgor Grech will celebrate Mass at 7pm during which there will be the blessing and presentation of babies to St Martha. An evening of entertainment on the church parvis starts at 8pm.
• Members of the Fergħa Ewkaristika (Gozo) will meet at Ta’ Pinu sanctuary on Saturday at 3pm to celebrate Mass and for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 4pm. All are welcome to attend.
• Victoria Scout Group will hold a barbecue and camp fire at the Dwejra campsite on August 6 at 7.30pm. Tickets may be obtained by calling the scouts on 2155 6497 or the group scout leader on 7955 5844 by August 4.
• Sannat celebrates the feast of St Margarita today. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a pontifical concelebrated Mass at 9am. The Missa in honorem S. Margaritae by Charles Camilleri, under the direction of Mro Joseph Debrincat, will be performed. Traditional horse and donkey races will be held at 2pm. Mgr Lawrence Sciberras will lead solemn vespers at 6.30pm, followed by a procession, accompanied by the Santa Margerita Band, at 7.45pm. La Stella Band will give a concert on St Margarita Square. The procession will end with a Eucharistic celebration at 10pm. Festivities end with marches by the Ite ad Joseph Band at 10.30pm.
• To mark the centenary of Dylan Thomas’s birth, Gozo Live will present his comedy Under Milk Wood, directed by Rob Ricards, on Friday and Saturday at 8pm in the Villa Rundle amphitheatre, Victoria. Entrance is free.
• MUSEUM superior Joe Fenech will hold a prayer and catechesis meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Thursday from 10 to 11am. All are invited. He presents a weekly Saturday programme from 1 to 3pm on Radju Marija.

• The Gozitan Graduates Movement invites graduates and members of professions in Gozo for Mass in Maltese on Friday at 8.30pm at St Augustine’s church, Victoria.
• Għarb Rangers FC is holding a folklore night with a traditional Gozitan dinner on Saturday in the parish square at 8pm. Entertainment will be provided by the Aurora Folk Group. Tickets are available from the club.
