A man who gave his life to the Labour Party, Salvu Seychell, passed away today, the party said.

In a statement it described Mr Seychell as a party activist, who, in recent years, was also a member of the party's executive. For some time, he served as the party's deputy general secretary.

The PL said that in spite of what he was going through, Mr Seychell continued to work within the party in silence and with love and dedication.

The party expressed its condolences with his family.
