The road works at Kennedy Grove are, apparently, encroaching on one of the picnic sites. This is one of the few natural wooded areas in St Paul’s Bay in which people can enjoy the open space under the shade of the trees.

Sometime last week, the trees were cut down leaving stumps. It appears from the photograph (above) that the trees and probably the surrounding area will be cleared as a result of the road works.

This seems a great shame for such a popular area and I am amazed that this is being permitted.
