RS2 Smart Processing Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RS2 Software , has won a contract from European Payment Systems (EPS).

EPS is an international and global payment service provider based in Austria, offering cashless payments for all popular credit cards at the point of sale and as an e-commerce solution.

The online, 24x7 authorisation and processing services will be provided via infrastructure installed in two datacentres in Madrid and Frankfurt with direct connections to the international bank card associations.

RS2’s Smart Processing services will enable EPS to provide their European merchants with full SEPA compliance services. International merchants of EPS will also benefit from the central acquiring service of RS2’s Bankworks for multi-currency transactions.

Air Malta reaches 80,000 FB likes

Air Malta has soared to 80,000 ‘likes’ on Facebook, adding 10,000 over just two months.

This makes it one of the most popular Maltese brands on social media.

Air Malta’s Facebook page is regularly updated with videos, images, blog posts and competitions that celebrate the airline’s passion for travel, particularly in Malta and its many other destinations. Over the past three months, Air Malta has offered its Facebook followers 25% off scheduled flights around Europe to celebrate its 40th anniversary and ran a prediction competition surrounding the football season, which gave all participants the chance to win discounts and free flights.

New Toyota Aygo now in Malta

BOV awards Mcast students

Top student entrepreneurs from Mcast’s Institute of Business and Commerce have been given awards by Bank of Valletta.

The winning business plan called TravelDice was presented by the team made up of Kimberly Azzopardi, Kristina Buhagiar, Robert Busuttil, Lyndsey Hollington, and Nicola Pace; while runner-up business plan Errand Genie was presented by the team made up of Mark Andrew Azzopardi, Keith Cortis, Chantelle Mifsud, Lauren Parfitt, and Elaine Zammit.
