Beppe Fenech Adami, the Nationalist Party’s deputy leader, is back in Malta after visiting the UK for medical attention, the Nationalist Party said.

It said in a statement he will be continuing his treatment in Malta and abroad in the coming days and weeks.

It again appealed for the family's privacy to be respected.

The family told Times of Malta on Wednesday that Dr Fenech Adami, 45, was  undergoing consultation and medical attention to determine the best way of successfully targeting his condition.

The family was extremely appreciative of the support it was receiving from all quarters.
