BONNICI. On July 15, NICHOLAS of Floriana, residing in Melbourne, aged 63, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doreen, his children Vanessa, Melissa and Clarissa, their spouses, his grandchildren, his brothers and sister, Joe and his wife Lina, Marlene and her husband Tony, Raymond, Ivo and Sandra, Noel, Henry and his wife Anna, his in-laws, his cousin Connie, relatives and friends. The funeral will be held tomorrow in Melbourne. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said on Thursday at 6.30pm at St Publius parish church, Floriana. CALLEJA. On July 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, LINA, née Pandolfino, aged 77, of Birkirkara, widow of Albert, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Anna Callus, Sylvana and her husband Anthony Fenech, Mariella and her husband Anton Zarb, Doriana Mamo, Henri and Christina, Sandro and Lore­dana, her grandchildren Daniel, Albert, Rebekka, Rakel, Andrew, Zachary and Clarissa, her brothers and sisters Anthony and Doris, Paul and Vivienne, Mary Rose Lauri, Josephine and Anthony Poole, Vincent and Doris, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 8am for St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkir­kara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be held, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CASSAR. On July 18, MARY, ex-teacher at De La Salle College, aged 92, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her nephews and nieces, Marcelline Sullivan and her sons Malcolm and Daniel and their respective families, Mario and Antoinette Fava, Reginald and Aurora Fava and family, Antoinette and Margot De­bono and family, great-nephews and nieces and great-grandnephews and nieces; her devoted friend Marlene Portughese and family, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. D’ANASTASI. On July 18, at Villa Messina, Rabat, MARY, née Ellul, aged 88, beloved wife of Major Carmel D’Anastasi, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Charles and his wife Connie, Godwin and his wife Mariosa, Emanuel and his wife An­géle, Anna and her husband Chris, Pat and her partner Claudio, her grandchildren Alexandra and Christian, Konrad and his wife Emma, Carla and Trevor, Claire and Melvin, Tessa and her husband Mark, Greta and Marc, Suzanna and Kurt, Da­vinia and her husband Logan, Duncan and Ania, Shawn, Lilly and her great-granddaughter Amy, her sister Lina and her husband An­thony, other relatives and friends. FENECH. On July 19 at Mater Dei Hospital, SR MARIA EUGENIA (INES), aged 84, of the Sisters of Charity, passed peacefully away to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her brother Carmelo and his wife Carmela, her sisters Giovanna, widow of the late Joseph Agius, Rita, widow of the late Emmanuel Spiteri, Helen and Beatrice, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hos­pital today at 9.45am for the convent chapel at 55, Birbal Street, Balzan, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated by Rev. SOLER. On July 18, REV. FR VICTOR, aged 92, passed peacefully away, at Dar tal-Kleru, Birkirkara, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his nephews and nieces, other relatives, fellow members of the clergy and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Dar tal-Kleru tomorrow at 1.45pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Il-Qaddejja taċ-Ċenaklu, Birkir­kara, or Dar tal-Providenza, Siġ­ġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. ZAMMIT. On July 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, CONCETTA, aged 89, pass­ed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers John and his wife Polly, Toni and his wife Ninette, her nephews and nieces in Malta and the US, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3pm for St Philip’s parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in her family’s grave at Sacred Heart of Jesus cemetery, Żebbuġ.
