Last month I dropped by the ATM of the BOV branch in St Paul’s Bay to withdraw some cash. There was nowhere to park except for a reserved parking spot in front of the building, and I parked my car there with both front windows open.
Two other customers were waiting to use the same ATM so I had to wait my turn before making use of the service. To my surprise, an armed policeman wearing a bullet-proof vest approched me and gave me a parking ticket.
Shouldn’t he have been concentrating on providing security at the bank rather than issuing parking tickets?
I have reported the case to the branch manager.
